I often go hiking and camping, usually backpacking with my own equipment rather than driving in. I have even done one or two camps that required me to canoe in with my gear. I also enjoy observing and learning about nature, and know many local species of birds and plants.

I have been fencing for most of my life, and have participated in several tournaments. My sword of choice is the foil, and I fight French Finger Style. Fencing can be a very rough sport, and requires quick movements, precision, and good reflexes.
I also collect comic books, and have been steadily expanding my collection for almost five years. I am a fan of sci-fi and fantasy, I have been to several conventions.
